We are seeking a dynamic leader with extensive experience in regulated, high-end casino environments who can support operational excellence, drive profitability, and deliver an outstanding guest experience. This role is ideal for a hands-on operator with strong leadership credentials, deep gaming knowledge, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Casino Director, the Deputy Casino Director will oversee the daily casino operation, ensuring maximum efficiency, compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across all departments.

You will play a key role in protecting the integrity of the operation while driving operational standards, team engagement, and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Casino Director in maximising operational effectiveness and profitability

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the casino operation

  • Ensure the integrity and compliance of all gaming activities and casino procedures

  • Build and maintain exceptional guest relationships through strong floor presence and professional issue resolution

  • Authorise customer transactions, cheque approvals, and player complimentary benefits within approved limits

  • Ensure all casino equipment and systems remain fully operational

  • Resolve disputes fairly, professionally, and in line with company procedures

  • Monitor operational performance standards and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies

  • Review and enhance operational policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets

  • Analyse operational and financial data, including forecasts and performance metrics

  • Support budgeting processes across P&L and Capex planning

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop management and operational teams

  • Guide and support Shift Managers to achieve peak performance

  • Foster a positive culture built on teamwork, accountability, communication, and respect

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, labour regulations, and gaming legislation

  • Act as a visible role model both within and outside the casino environment

 Skills & Experience Required

  • 15–20 years’ experience within regulated, high-volume, luxury casino operations

  • Experience working across multiple gaming jurisdictions preferred

  • Strong operational knowledge across:

    • Table Games

    • Slots

    • Cash Desk

    • Reception

    • Surveillance

    • Marketing

    • HR

    • Finance

  • Full understanding of casino P&L management and budgeting processes

  • Experience using Casino Management Systems (CMS)

  • Strong leadership and people management capability

  • Commercially minded with excellent analytical and reporting skills

Role Purpose:

Customer Service

  • Driving venue performance by effective business planning, motivation of team and service excellence

  • Ensuring the venue housekeeping is of the highest possible standards at all times, with the effective checks in place, both internally and external to the venue

  • Ensure all employees have good product knowledge of machines, and are encouraged to share advice

  • Ensure all machines are externally presentable

Office

  • All company paperwork is dealt with promptly and efficiently in a clear and legible manner and where required sent to Head Office

  • Rotas completed, authorised and readily available four weeks in advance

Personnel

  • When recruiting and interviewing adhere to company guidelines

  • Ensure every new employee receives a full and complete induction into the company including issue of uniform, name badge, sentinel card and keys where required

  • Ensure every employee receives new and refresh training

  • To implement where required the company grievance, disciplinary and dismissal procedures

  • Hold regular meetings with staff to inform of changes and listen to any concerns/issues

Security

 Your role in our journey

  • Reporting to the Director of Compliance Operations, the Head of Compliance Operations has overall accountability for the leadership, performance, and continuous development of our Digital-focused compliance operations, with oversight of aligned Retail activity.

  • This role owns the operational delivery of Safer Gambling (SG), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) across Digital, ensuring consistent, high-quality compliance outcomes in a complex, customer-facing environment.

  • You will lead a critical frontline function at the centre of customer protection and regulatory delivery — ensuring Digital compliance operations are robust, scalable, and consistently aligned with regulatory expectations, operational realities, and customer experience standards.

  • While Digital is the primary focus, you will work closely with Retail counterparts to ensure joined-up, end-to-end compliance delivery across channels.

  • This is a senior leadership role combining strategic ownership with hands-on operational oversight.

  • You will shape the Digital compliance operating model, translate regulatory and business strategy into practical execution, and empower teams with the tools, capability, and insight required to perform at pace and at scale.

 What you will do

  • Own and lead Digital Compliance Operations, with primary accountability for Safer Gambling, and CDD delivery across the Digital estate, ensuring regulatory compliance, customer protection, and operational effectiveness.

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership for Digital compliance teams, ensuring clear prioritisation, effective resource planning, and delivery against SLAs and regulatory commitments.

  • Maintain oversight of aligned Retail compliance operations, ensuring consistency of standards, controls, and outcomes across channels.

  • Lead, coach, and develop senior Digital compliance managers and operational leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead the Digital operational input into the design, testing, and rollout of new systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring they are practical, scalable, and aligned to frontline realities.

  • Represent Digital Compliance Operations in senior forums, governance committees, and regulatory engagements, including site visits and audits where required.

  • Stay ahead of emerging regulatory requirements and Digital-specific risks, ensuring the operating model remains proactive, resilient, and future-ready.

  • Champion a strong Digital compliance and conduct culture, embedding ethical decision-making, transparency, and customer protection at the heart of frontline activity.

 What you will bring

  • Significant experience in compliance operations within the gaming sector, with strong, demonstrable experience in Digital gaming environments (highly desirable).

  • Deep practical knowledge of Digital Safer Gambling, AML, and CDD requirements, with the ability to apply regulatory guidance pragmatically in high-volume, customer-facing settings.

  • Proven senior leadership experience managing managers and operational teams.

  • A track record of improving Digital compliance performance through process redesign, operational insight, and effective use of technology.
