The Role

  • We are currently seeking an experienced Gaming professional for the opportunity to become Head of Poker at one of the leading Casinos in the country.

  • With the largest poker room in the UK, we provide our guests with a broad range of cash games and an extensive tournament schedule (Covid permitting).

  • Running regular, innovative promotions and working with a variety of known poker brands to hold large scale tournaments throughout the year.

  • We are looking for a creative, proactive person who will be responsible for achieving key business commercial goals through the leadership and management of the Poker business.

  • The role is accountable for producing, implementing and sustaining gaming strategy initiatives that will maximise revenue opportunity.

  • The Head of Poker role will lead a team of Customer Service Managers in understanding and striving for the achievement of business goals as well as motivating a Poker team to deliver an engaging customer service; and to succession plan within the department to create a talent pool of Poker staff.

Selection Criteria (Essential)

  • Minimum of 5 years management experience in a Gaming environment.

  • Valid PML Holder.

  • Extensive knowledge of the Poker industry.

  • Committed to ensuring that we offer the highest levels of player protection to our guests.

  • Knowledge of planning, forecasting, budgeting and financial processes.

Selection Criteria (Desirable)

  • A diploma qualification or degree in a Business, Gaming or Hospitality Management discipline.

  • Personal Liquor License Holder.

  • 3 – 5 Years’ experience managing a busy and successful Poker room.

The Company

  • A leading operator of Family Entertainment Centres and Arcades is seeking a talented and experienced Arcade Manager to take operational responsibility for a multi venue large flag ship site.

  • You will be responsible for managing the business performance of the Arcades through control of staff and equipment, ensuring budgeted targets are achieved and operating standards are adhered to.

  • To work within given budget constraints whilst pursuing maximum operating efficiency and profitability.

The Responsibilities

  • To ensure the efficient day to day running of all site operations.

  • Ensure that interior/exterior standards are maintained at a high level.

  • Review arcade takings and machine performance on a daily basis with particular emphasis on security. 

  • Continually review the siting of equipment to ensure maximisation of income whilst maintaining good machine housekeeping.

  • Ensuring all cranes, pushers etc are well stocked and as attractive as possible.

  • Maintain a close liaison at all times with your management team communicating Company information/changes in procedure as and when required.

  • To ensure that cash collections are carried out accurately and securely; and in line with agreed procedure, whilst adhering to Company procedures.

  • Conduct regular random checks of floats, keys, stock and vouchers as well as weekly and period checks.

  • Work with the Engineers to prioritise workload to minimise downtime.

  • Working with management team and Head Office, ensure that correct stock lines and levels are maintained.

  • Ensure that staffing ratios are observed and improved, whilst maintaining operational objectives.

  • Manage train and motivate all staff members to ensure a happy productive working environment.

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere within the arcades providing exceptional customer service.

Experience

A leading Casino operator is seeking a talented Electronic Gaming Tech / Slot Tech to join their existing tech team to help service, maintain and repair their electronic gaming products and to provide exceptional service to our customers.

The Role

  • Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on all Electronic Gaming equipment.

  • Demonstrates Electronic Gaming product knowledge.

  • Resolve routine malfunctions when a cause has been identified.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and services either on demand or to agreed schedule.

  • Report all required parts or spares to the Group Electronic Gaming Manager or Lead EG Technician.

  • Assist with machine moves and new equipment installation and escalate any unusual activity.

  • Return all faulty, advance replacement parts promptly and with the appropriate paperwork, stating the fault.

  • Ensure you have sufficient documentation, spars and tools required to complete duties to the required standard.

  • Undertake PAT testing of all portable appliances and fill out the appropriate paperwork.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of machine compliance.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of rules, processes, and gaming equipment functionality.

  • Provide technical support to site staff and maintain clear communications with the operational teams.

  • Demonstrate the ability to identify basic electronic components within an Electronic Gaming machine, to an adequate standard.

  • Compliance - Understands the importance and responsibilities of maintaining personal licence conditions.

  • Accountable for ensuring that audits completed on assigned Gaming table are compliant.

  • Daily demonstrates legislative compliance, adherence to and knowledge of:
