General Purpose

The Host will be required to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with high-worth players. They will assist with educating both internal and external customers on gaming requirements and our product, to better yield the company's share of gaming wallet and premium products on offer. In addition, the job holder will be required to promote all other Member offers to patrons and help develop a loyal customer base for these areas.

The role is responsible for following all company, departmental and gaming compliance procedures, ensuring that legal regulations are being met at all times.

Essential Duties & Tasks

Daily Operations

  • Develop new players, maintain existing players where required, and service all VIP-level casino guests on property and remotely through electronic/telephone communications.

  • Carry out market research on trends, facts, and figures to make informed decisions on how to best provide support for customer activities.

  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the products on offer to Members to ensure optimum offerings are always available.

  • Help coordinate and facilitate bespoke VIP activities and events, including parties and corporate box hosting when required to support business development.

  • Maintain intimate knowledge of hotels, bars, clubs, golf courses, and other appropriate retailers that may be sources of new affluent, VIP gaming customers.

  • Execute short and long-range marketing plans based on strategies and goals to increase the company's share of gaming wallet from high-worth gaming segments.

  • Liaise with other senior staff to determine the range of products and services and maintain strong relationships with all other departments.

  • Strive to improve and simplify the Member experience through the continuous assessment of policies and procedures, work processes, and programme effectiveness.

  • Sensitively develop relationships and show potential clients that the Club cares about having their business. Persuasive and negotiating skills must be of a very high level, bringing about the required end results without individuals being aware that they have been targeted and pursued.

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Senior Leadership team.

Note: In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform such other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.

Team Support

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team, gaming operations, and all other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.

  • Assist other team members with their duties as needed.

  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and company policies.

Education

  • Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Intimate knowledge of Asian / Chinese cultures; must be always looking for connections and introductions into these networks in London and other Asian capitals. Must be seen as the go-to person for top-end leisure and recreational assistance, trusted by these communities in London and in their home countries.

  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a hospitality or gaming environment.

Work Conditions

  • Ability to work on shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Casino Director in maximising operational effectiveness and profitability

 Skills & Experience Required

  • 15–20 years’ experience within regulated, high-volume, luxury casino operations

  • Full understanding of casino P&L management and budgeting processes
