We have a new casino opened in Aberdeen and looking for an experienced Casino Cashier to join our friendly team.

 

About the role:

As a Casino Cashier, reporting to the senior management team, you will be handling customer transactions, receiving and preparing cash for banking in a professional, accurate manner and ensuring all customer transactions are recorded, processed correctly in accordance with the casino's regulations. along with maintaining confidentiality at all times.

You will be responsible for the full Cash Desk reconciliation, managing and protecting the company assets. Providing excellent, attentive customer service, ensuring that all customers feel at ease in an enjoyable atmosphere.

 It's essential you adhere to all LCCP, AMLD, Fire, Health and Safety Regulations.

 

Other duties will include:

  • Assisting with the training of trainee cashiers

  • Completing reports as necessary

  • Dealing with basic administration/bookkeeping tasks

  • Attend meetings

  • You will be required to work 40 hours per week

  • Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour

Must have an up-to-date and valid PFL as issued by the Gambling Commission.

The ability to work as a team player whilst maintaining a level of initiative.

Be well-presented and able to create a good impression to all visitors to the casino.

The Role

The primary function of the Dutch-speaking Compliance Officer is to ensure compliance with the Dutch regulations. The role covers the continuous monitoring compliance, reporting to the regulator, internal reporting, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continued compliance. The chosen candidate will also be investigating escalated complaints and should be able to advise on different areas of the business, including but not limited to advertising

Responsibilities:

  • Keep up with new regulatory requirements and follow up internally on their implementation

  • Provide assistance when dealing with customers’ complaints raised internally

  • Investigate and draft formal replies to third-party dispute resolution bodies

  • Review procedures and ensure that they are up to date; propose and drive changes thereof where necessary

  • Draft policies

  • Assist with internal and external audits

  • Prepare reports for management

  • Collect data for reports required by relevant authorities

  • Review and prepare terms and conditions

  • Prepare and delivery employee training on different regulatory issues and the Company’s policies and procedures

About You:

  • 2+ years previous experience in working in online-gambling, ideally with experience in compliance

  • Dutch native speaker or equivalent fluency

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in both Dutch and English

You will liaise with external studios to secure and develop our next exclusive games.
