Position Summary:
The Group Director Online Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand visibility in a highly competitive online casino, sports, and poker gaming market. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across digital marketing channels, partnership management, customer insights, compliance, and campaign optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the online casino and sportsbook, aligning with company goals and market trends.
Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across markets and channels.
Acquisition & Retention
Oversee the design and delivery of ATL digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, programmatic, social media, affiliates, influencer marketing, and email.
Collaborate with Product Owners to utilize data-driven insights to grow revenue through targeted promotional campaigns across all product verticals.
Partner with the Group Director Loyalty and CXM to implement CRM and loyalty initiatives aimed at increasing LTV and reducing churn.
Work with the Group Director VIP Marketing to recognize and reward high-value customer segments, maximizing retention within RTP parameters.
Optimize the player journey from registration to retention, including onboarding, segmentation, and promotions.
Product Management
Build and maintain a strong brand presence in existing and new markets.
Manage the delivery of the customer experience through UI/UX management and creative assets such as banners, videos, copy, and landing pages.
Analytics & Performance Tracking
Set KPIs and use analytics tools to monitor performance, user behavior, and ROI.
Present regular reports and insights to the executive team.
Affiliate & Partner Management
Direct the Affiliate Manager to grow and manage affiliate programs and strategic partnerships.
Ensure compliance with advertising standards and jurisdictional regulations.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals and external agencies.
Foster a data-driven, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Regulatory Compliance
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing activities adhere to local gaming regulations and responsible gambling standards.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) in senior marketing roles within online gambling, iGaming, or similar digital entertainment industries.
Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, tools, and technologies.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Experience in regulated markets and familiarity with advertising standards.
Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).
Familiarity with CRM systems, affiliate networks, and customer segmentation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
International market experience.
Knowledge of casino game mechanics and player psychology.
