Position - General Manager, Casino
Location - Manchester
Salary - £40k salary working 40 hours over 5 days. Must be fully flexible for a range of shift patterns.
Purpose of the Role
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the venue to ensure peak efficiency, operational excellence, and the achievement of all operational goals. The role promotes strong leadership, maintains the venue's professional image, and manages relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Control
Implement financial safeguards, manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and conduct market research.Leadership
Recruit and train employees in line with company guidelines, conduct performance reviews, and manage grievance and disciplinary procedures.Customer Service
Monitor employee performance in customer service, address complaints, and ensure site presentation meets required standards.Promotions
Display promotional materials and, following evaluation, implement new promotions.Machine Management
Participate in weekly site inspections, assess employee knowledge of equipment, and manage machine performance in coordination with technical teams.Audit
Maintain high presentation standards, perform competitor checks, and ensure compliance with all audit requirements.Security
Adhere to gambling regulations, inspect visitor identification, and manage alarm systems.Health & Safety
Implement safety policies, conduct fire drills, and ensure all staff are trained on health and safety procedures.IT
Manage staff records in IT systems and handle work schedules.
