We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sportsbook Cashier to join a dynamic team one of our clients land based Casino offering sportsbook betting. In this key role, you will oversee betting transactions, manage assets, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, all while delivering exceptional customer service. Your expertise and enthusiasm will play a vital role in creating an engaging and enjoyable betting experience that reflects our brand values and mission.
Responsibilities
Process all betting transactions: accepting wagers and paying winning bets.
Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to betting and gaming operations.
Provide knowledgeable guidance and support to customers on betting options and strategies.
Deliver outstanding customer service to all patrons.
Assist in executing promotional campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience and optimize operational efficiency.
Required Attributes
At least 1 year of experience in a sports betting role.
Knowledge of betting principles, sports markets, and applicable regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Strong time management skills.
Experience with betting software and platforms.
A passion for sports and a good understanding of various sporting events and betting markets.
Fluent in English, with good IT skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Good mathematical skills.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and self-motivated mindset.
Team-oriented attitude with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.
Eighteen years or older.
Eligible to work in the UK.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Familiarity with sports betting software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management tools.
Experience with Arkle and Artemis systems for managing customer interactions and promotions.
