Salary: £45K-£50K depending on experience and skill set, plus bonuses 

Department: Operations/Warehouse Management - Casino Industry 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SSC (Service Support Center) Manager to oversee and optimise our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and health and safety standards, while driving efficiencies and continuous improvement across the warehouse. This leadership role requires strategic planning, operational expertise, and strong stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance & Record-Keeping:
    Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and health and safety standards. Conduct and document risk assessments, lead compliance and health & safety audits, and maintain accurate, up-to-date records that are audit-ready.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis:
    Prepare and present weekly and monthly reports, including KPI analysis, data reconciliation, and investigation of discrepancies. Provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Operational Planning & Process Optimization:
    Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations to maximize efficiency and reduce costs. Continuously evaluate and improve processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.

  • Budget Management:
    Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Lead initiatives aimed at operational enhancements, productivity improvements, and cost reductions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in operations management or warehouse/service centre management, preferably within fast-paced business-to-business environments, including site management, transportation, or production.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for report production and analysis.

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), with knowledge of SAP and Salesforce CRM considered advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of KPIs and service levels, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

  • Excellent leadership, change management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective communicator at all organizational levels, capable of building relationships and challenging constructively.
