Online Marketing Group Director – Tallinn, Estonia - approx €70K + bonuses

Position Summary:

The Group Director Online Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand visibility in a highly competitive online casino, sports, and poker gaming market. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across digital marketing channels, partnership management, customer insights, compliance, and campaign optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy for the online casino and sportsbook, aligning with company goals and market trends.

  • Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities across markets and channels.

Acquisition & Retention

  • Oversee the design and delivery of ATL digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, programmatic, social media, affiliates, influencer marketing, and email.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to utilize data-driven insights to grow revenue through targeted promotional campaigns across all product verticals.

  • Partner with the Group Director Loyalty and CXM to implement CRM and loyalty initiatives aimed at increasing LTV and reducing churn.

  • Work with the Group Director VIP Marketing to recognize and reward high-value customer segments, maximizing retention within RTP parameters.

  • Optimize the player journey from registration to retention, including onboarding, segmentation, and promotions.

Product Management

  • Build and maintain a strong brand presence in existing and new markets.

  • Manage the delivery of the customer experience through UI/UX management and creative assets such as banners, videos, copy, and landing pages.

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Set KPIs and use analytics tools to monitor performance, user behavior, and ROI.

  • Present regular reports and insights to the executive team.

Affiliate & Partner Management

  • Direct the Affiliate Manager to grow and manage affiliate programs and strategic partnerships.

  • Ensure compliance with advertising standards and jurisdictional regulations.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals and external agencies.

  • Foster a data-driven, innovative, and collaborative culture.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all marketing activities adhere to local gaming regulations and responsible gambling standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in senior marketing roles within online gambling, iGaming, or similar digital entertainment industries.

  • Deep understanding of digital marketing tactics, tools, and technologies.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Experience in regulated markets and familiarity with advertising standards.

  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Tableau, etc.).

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, affiliate networks, and customer segmentation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

  • International market experience.

  • Knowledge of casino game mechanics and player psychology.
