Job Title: (Position Filled) General Manager – Online Poker
Salary: €50K - €60K
Location: South Africa
General Purpose
General Manager – Online Poker manages all aspects of the Online Poker site including operations, tournament and cash game strategies, marketing strategies – online and offline, staffing, customer satisfaction/retention and staff management to ensure the targets for this division are met.
You will also be required to come up with cross sell strategies to and from the Sportsbook and Online Casino.
The successful candidate will also need to plan the launch strategy, budget and promotions for the launch date and have it signed off by the board of Directors.
Experience
5-10 years in the online Poker and Casino Industry with a proven track record.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Launch Strategy Including
Marketing plan and budget
Customer recruitment
Daily, weekly, monthly tournaments.
Customer journey finalization.
Affiliate plan.
Sign up and retention bonuses.
Targets signed off by the Board.
Decisions on rake in games, customer rake backs etc.
Ongoing Management
Of the entire Online poker function.
Staffing plan.
Customer support.
Division budget.
Reporting
Submit Daily weekly and monthly reports.
Customer Service
Set up a customer support team.
Ensure that the necessary documentation is requested during the cash out process in terms of KYC.
Contact clients to follow up on any outstanding information.
Assist clients with feedback on any issues.
Log all queries on a daily basis to ensure that they are attended to and resolved.
SEO/Digital
These channels will be key to the acquisition of customers.
Work with the Digital/social media/SEO agencies daily to ensure we are filling the acquisition pipeline.
Competitor Reviews
Constant analysis of competitors, targeting any gaps and ensure we are seen as the foremost Online Poker company in South Africa.
