The Company

A leading Operator of Adult Gaming Centres is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician to take responsibility for the maintenance, service and repair of their Electronic Gaming Equipment across their sites in and around the Brighton area.

Machine Management

  • To conduct servicing on all machines as dictated by the approved company standard.
  • To repair all faults, where possible, as dictated by the Service Level Agreement.
  • To notify your Line Manager of any faults that you are unable to fix.
  • To monitor and amend, where necessary, operating percentages as per Company Policy.
  • To liaise with the Central Stores facility for the order of any required parts.
  • To be responsible for your own development of machine knowledge.
  • To ensure all machines meet the required standards as per the Service Level Agreement.
  • To ensure maintenance is carried out on all machines as dictated by the maintenance schedule.
  • To undertake PAT testing, of all portable appliances, as dictated by the Service Level Agreement.
  • To meet and exceed targets for: Servicing, Presentation, Mech, Glass and Reel Cleaning.
  • To undertake machine moves to company standards and with limited disruption.

Customer Service

  • Ensure you greet and acknowledge all customers you come into contact with.
  • Ensure customers feel valued, learn their names and use it during conversations.
  • Where appropriate, provide advice and tips on playing the machines.
  • To professionally handle customer’s comments and complaints.

Legal

  • Ensure the company security policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.
  • Effectively implement, on a day-to-day basis, the Health & Safety and Social Reasonability training you have been given.
  • In line with current Gambling Laws “Think 21” at all times.
  • To be aware of and follow all legal and company policies and procedures as instructed.
  • Ensure Protection of the Company’s Licensing Obligations / Objectives.

(Position Filled) District Manager - Gaming £30K - £40K

Job Title:        (Position Filled) District Manager
Salary:            £30K - £40K + Bonus + Car + Benefits
Location:        East Sussex

The Role

  • Due to recent expansion a leading gaming operator is seeking an experienced District Manager to ensure that their sites are run efficiently and effectively and to the required standards of excellence.

Role Purpose

  • To manage, recruit and supervise all staff, ensuring that an excellent customer service is provided

  • To ensure that the sites are operating efficiently and that the potential revenues are maximised

  • To complete all administration/security procedures to the standard required.

  • To adhere to all company policy including health and safety, all legal compliance and HR

  • To represent the company in a professional manner
  • Ensure the customer experience is consistently excellent
  • All customer comments and complaints are dealt with in a professional manner

  • All staff are fully aware of all promotions

  • All staff have good product knowledge and are encouraged to give advice to customers

 Machines Standards

  • All exceptions to be investigated weekly and unresolved issues to be reported to the Operations Manager

  • To maintain agreed presentation standards

  • Ensure all technical aspects are being adhered to though regular communication with technical team

  • Monitor operating percentages within budget guidelines

  • Ensure correct balance of machines on each site

  • Control all Cash differences, investigating adverse variances

  • Attend minimum of one empty per week

  • Ensure that the required personnel are present to complete the empty

  • Ensure a quality empty is achieved by accurate meter readings, top ups and empty of machines

  • Ensure all machines have up to date fraud protection and software fitted

  • Ensure that correct machine licenses are held for each site, and monthly checks are completed

Housekeeping, Presentation and Maintenance

  • All cleaning schedules are adhered to

  • Conduct site and building maintenance inspections as instructed by your Operations Manager

  • Refer all jobs for repair renewal to your Operations Manager for authorisation

  • Arrange window displays and ordering of stock for windows up to an agreed annual budget

  • Inform Operations Manager of site repairs 

Security

  • Two people to be present at opening and closing

  • All keys to be signed for

  • No unauthorised persons to be admitted

  • Key holders to be fully trained

  • Ensure the company’s door policy is implemented

  • Ensure company security policy is strictly adhered to

  • Conduct regular/random security checks in accordance with Company policy

Marketing/Promotions

  • Implement and monitor as agreed with Operations Manager

Staffing

  • Ensure all recruitment, selection, induction and training guidelines are metEnsure all staff receive the basic induction on day one, and the full induction by week one

  • Ensure rotas are completed on a timely basis, are within the agreed budget levels and are signed off and hours approved

  • References are taken up on all new employees

  • Inform Operations Manager of any concerns or problems

  • To ensure that site is manned to the agreed budget level at all times

  • Organise holiday rotas for site and formally deputise for Managers/ Supervisors who are on holiday

  • Ensure all staff meet Company presentation standards

  • Ensure appraisals, further training programmes and staff development plans are carried out as necessary

  • Comply with Company Disciplinary procedure where necessary

Health and Safety

  • To be aware of and follow all Health and Safety legislation

  • Regularly check all mandatory company statutory notices are in place

  • Ensure all staff are fully trained in all areas of H&S, and food hygiene

  • Ensure fire drills are carried out and logged

  • Carry out regular hazard checks

  • Ensure first aid boxes are well stocked

Administration

  • Carry out float checks

  • Ensure the Admin folder is updated on a weekly basis

  • Ensure correct banking procedures are carried out

  • Ensure all purchase orders are fully completed

  • Ensure all paper work is legible and correct, and submitted on time

  • Investigate any anomalies, reporting any findings including cash differences

Budget Control

  • Ensure budgets are strictly adhered to

  • Monitor budgets by way of weekly control sheet reporting anomalies to your Operations Manager
