Job Title:                    (Position Filled) Electronic Gaming Technician - Casino

Location:                   London         

Introduction

  • The role of gaming product technician is to provide technical support for the gaming equipment within our casinos.

  • Focused on the London region.

Principal Accountabilities

  • To effectively manage the day-to-day service calls logged by casinos relating to gaming equipment faults.

  • To work with and report to the senior gaming product technician for the region on any ongoing issues.

  • To observe all machine accounting systems and maintain security procedures relating to this.

  • To anticipate machine faults and be proactive in dealing with these and reporting to the senior gaming product technician.

  • To ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures in respect of Health and Safety in the workplace and public areas, at all times.

  • Ensure internal customers are kept informed at all stages of progress with regard to machine faults.

  • To carry out Preventative Maintenance on a wide range of gaming equipment as per required service schedules for that equipment type.

  • Liaise with casino management with regard to ongoing fault management and how to reduce machine downtime.

  • Assist the project team when required with machine installs and gaming floor moves.

  • To adhere to company SLA targets in relationship to gaming equipment repairs.

  • To provide service and customer support to our casinos.

  • To carry out any other duties that may be reasonably requested from time to time throughout the entire casino estate.

Personal Skills & Experience

  • Ability to be self-motivated.

  • Be a problem solver.

  • A self-starter able to work autonomously yet also a team player.

  • Have extensive knowledge of gaming equipment.

  • Have great communications skills.

  • Basic understanding electronics.

  • Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office products.

  • Ability to form strong working relationships across the business.

Working Hours

  • 40 hours minimum per week – as necessary to meet business demands.

Job Function

A leading Operator of Adult Gaming Centres is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer / Technician to take responsibility for the maintenance and repair of their Electronic Gaming Equipment.

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks

Operational

  • To service and maintain all gaming equipment and ancillary equipment in your venues.

  • To complete all service calls, technical updates and maintenance works.

  • To assist with Gaming machine installations and removals.

  • Develop and support communication lines with operations, management and third parties to aid effective information flow.

  • To attend technical training courses from third party suppliers.

  • To provide service cover outside of the normal working area when required.

Customer Service

  • To promote the company in a positive manner when interacting with customers.

  • To ensure that your presentation, work and approach reflects well upon the company.

  • To carry out your role in a polite and courteous manner.

  • To promote the concept of teamwork to enhance business opportunities and achievement.

Security

  • To follow and adhere to the machine key policy.

  • To ensure that procedures relating to security of cash are upheld when visiting venues.

Administration

  • To ensure all Company equipment is maintained in a good condition and properly accounted for.

  • To complete expense & mileage sheets in accordance with company policy/guidelines.

  • To adhere to the company car policy.

  • To order and return all gaming machine replacement parts in the time specified by each manufacturer.

Required Skills

  • Preferred experience within a relevant industry.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Preferred experience in basic networking protocols.

  • Good keyboard skills and intermediate level PC skills including excel.

  • Ability to learn new techniques and skills.

Requirements

  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and requests as required.

  • Due to increased success a leading Gaming Company is seeking a talented Project Technician to join their Gaming Product Support team.

  • The successful candidate will provide service across all UK casinos with regard to installation, re-configuration and de-commissioning of live and electronic gaming products plus ancillary equipment.

Job Role

  • Assist the Senior Project Technician with installation and re-location of network cabling, switches, cabinets, server racks, live gaming tables and gaming equipment.

  • To service and repair gaming equipment where necessary to the specified company standards.

  • To keep up to date with technological developments in both gaming equipment and the provision of the required data infrastructure.

  • To observe machine accounting and security procedures in the casinos where work is carried out.

  • To anticipate and report areas of security risk to their line manager.

  • To ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures in respect of Health and Safety in the workplace and public areas, at all times.

  • To adopt a pleasant, professional and positive manner with internal and external customers.

  • To ensure that tools and test equipment are kept in a serviceable condition

  • Understanding on how to install cat5 and cat6 data networks.

Key Skills/ Experience Required

  • To be flexible to the demands of the business with regards to work location.

  • This role involves extensive travel across the UK.

  • To have solid understanding of data infrastructure and the associated hardware.

  • Excellent communication skills over multiply platforms are necessary.

  • Have an understanding on project management software

  • Must have ability to work as an individual and as part of a small team.
